Anyone else out there (in the Boreal Emisphere) excited for Fall outfits?
After months of shorts and t-shirts I’m definitely ready for cozy and warm outfits, maybe with a cup of tea, watching Law & Order on the sofa with the rain outside. Okay, maybe it’s too much haha but I’m seriously into the Fall mood right now. This is why I made a list of 5 evergreen clothing pieces we all should have in our closet this season. C’è qualcuno oltre a me (nell’emisfero boreale) che non vede l’ora di look autunnali?
Dopo mesi di shorts e magliettine sono pronta per outfit comodi e caldi, magari con una tazza di tè, guardando Law & Orrder sul divano mentre fuori piove. Okay, forse è un po’ troppo ahah ma sono davvero nel mood autunnale al momento. Ecco perché ho scritto una lista dei 5 capi che tutte noi dovremmo avere nell’armadio in questa stagione. It’s never easy dressing up when it’s cold in the morning, warmer in the early afternoon and cold again in the evening, especially if we have to stay out all day. Mothers and grandmas say “dress up like an onion” and it’s true, but…which “layers” to choose? Here my personal top 5! Nothing better than a skirt to feel feminine even when it’s raining outside (and when we would leave home in our pijamas!). Cotton or cotton blend, to have that comfy feeling and knee lenght, from day to night! // Niente di meglio di una gonna per sentirci femminili anche quando fuori piove (e quando vorremmo uscire in pigiama!). Cotone o misto cotone, per stare davvero comode e lunghezza al ginocchio, da mattina a sera!

It’s all about maintaining the comfy home feeling also outside, isn’t it? So yes to trousers that look chic enough for the office but casual for a drink. Not too skinny, yes to neutral colors and absolutely not low-rise. // Sta tutto nel mantenere la comodità di casa anche fuori, non è così? Quindi sì a pantaloni che siano chic abbastanza per l’ufficio ma casual per un drink. Non troppo attillati, sì ai colori neutri e assolutamente no alla vita bassa.

My Fall (and Winter) uniform that makes me feel elegant and comfortable at the same time! And you just need to add heels to change it from day to night outfit. Long or medium sleeve and classic patterns (or total black/grey) for the win! // La mia uniforme per l’Autunno (e l’Inverno) che mi fa sentire comoda ma elegante allo stesso tempo! E dovete solo aggiungere dei tacchi per passare da outfit da giorno a look speciale da sera. Maniche lunghe o medie e stampe classiche (o total black/grigio) e avete vinto!
