It’s official: Summer is here! Who’s ready for outdoor moments, sun, sea/pool and fun? I definitely am!
Since the renovation of our new house has started again (after almost one year of stop) we’re probably going to spend our Summer there. If we’ll be able to go to the sea it will be even better, but for now these are our plans. So, if you’re going to spend the hot season in the city like me, today I want to share with you a beautiful way to update your outdoors and create the perfect space to enjoy long dinners with friends and to chill, forgetting for a while about the beach!

L’Estate è qui! Chi è pronto per momenti all’aperto, sole, mare/piscina e divertimento? Io non vedo l’ora!
Dal momento che abbiamo ripreso la ristrutturazione della casa nuova (dopo quasi un anno di fermo) questa Estate la passeremo probabilmente qui. Se poi riusciremo ad andare al mare sarà anche meglio, ma per ora i piani sono questi. Quindi, se anche voi passerete l’Estate in città, oggi voglio mostrarvi una bellissima idea per creare uno spazio esterno perfetto per lunghe cene tra amici e per rilassarvi, dimenticandovi per un po’ della spiaggia!
3 years ago I showed you how to create a bohemian corner at home (link here), today we use pallets to make the outdoor lounge of your dreams! This works both for big and small spaces cause you choose how to combine pallets and the final dimension. Oh, and all this on a low budget. Win win!

3 anni fa vi ho mostrato come realizzare a casa un angolo bohemian (link qui), oggi useremo i bancali per creare l’esterno dei vostri sogni! Funziona benissimo sia per spazi grandi che piccoli, dal momento che scegliete voi come combinare i bancali e la dimensione finale. Ah, e tutto per un costo bassissimo. Super vincente!

To make this project you just need some pallets, sand paper, protective transparent paint for wood and colored paint (optional). Start with the sand paper, to remove splinters and uniform the surface. Then add the protective paint with a brush cause you’re going to leave the pallets outdoor, so use a paint for outdoor furniture. Once they’re dry, add the colored paint (we opted for white) but you can leave them their natural color as well. Voilà! Place them as you like (you don’t need to nail them), add cushions and you’re done! // Per realizzare questo progetto vi servono solamente dei bancali, della carta vetrata, della vernice trasparente protettiva per legno e della vernice colorata (opzionale). Iniziate con la carta vetrata, per rimuovere schegge ed uniformare la superficie. Poi aggiungete la vernice protettiva con un pennello dal momento che lascerete fuori i bancali e quindi sceglietela per mobili da esterno. Una volta asciutti dipingeteli del colore che volete (noi abbiamo scelto il bianco), o lasciateli naturali. Voilà! Posizionateli come più vi piace (non dovete nemmeno inchiodarli tra loro), aggiungete i cuscini e avete fatto!
