LIGHT, PLEASE // LUCE, GRAZIE
First thing first is choosing a corner in your house well lit: you need light to stay focused (and awake), so your workspace will be next to a window and with a beautiful lamp. If you’re going to buy one, choose a light bulb for hot or neutral light, the most used in offices and houses. // Innanzitutto scegliete un angolo della vostra casa ben illuminato: avete bisogno di luce per stare concentrate (e sveglie), quindi il vostro spazio di lavoro sarà vicino ad una finestra e con una bella lampada. Se state andando ad acquistarne una, sceglietela con luce calda o neutra, le più usate in uffici e abitazioni.

What’s the most important element in your workspace? The desk! If the space available is limited you can opt for a small one, but choose it with drawers or think about additional shelves to keep everything organized. Who said that tiny spaces can’t be practical? // Qual è l’elemento più importante del vostro spazio di lavoro? La scrivania! Se lo spazio è limitato, scegliete un piccolo tavolino, ma con cassetti o mensole addizionali per tenere tutto in ordine. Chi ha detto che gli spazi piccoli non posso essere pratici?

KEEP IT MINIMAL // STATE SUL MINIMAL
Having pens, pc, planners, food, coffee mugs, your cat all around your desk won’t help you being focused and productive. This is why drawers were essential (point 2), but you can also use boxes to keep your things organized and leave your desk at its minimal. This doesn’t mean that you can’t decorate it (see point 4), but less is definitely better, cause small spaces look even smaller when messy. // Avere penne, pc, agende, cibo, tazze di caffè, il vostro gatto sulla scrivania non vi aiuterà ad essere concentrate e produttive. Ecco perché i cassetti erano essenziali (punto 2), ma potete usare anche scatole per tenere in ordine le vostre cose e tenere la scrivania al minimo indispensabile. Ciò non vuol dire che non potete decorarla (punto 4), ma poco è meglio, perché gli spazi piccoli appaiono tali ancora di più se in disordine.

MAKE IT YOUR SPACE! // RENDETELO IL VOSTRO SPAZIO!
So, yes to few decorations that make it truly yours (cause this is not a boring office!). If it’s assumed that you have to keep it minimal, on the other side you need to feel comfy in your own space. Decorate it with a plant, a golden accessory, an inspiring quote. Be creative (and sober haha). Oh, you can print these quotes I made for you! // Quindi, sì a poche decorazioni che lo rendano davvero personale (perché non siamo in un noioso ufficio!). Se da una parte abbiamo capito che dobbiamo tenerlo minimal, dall’altra abbiamo bisogno di sentirci a nostro agio nel nostro spazio. Decorate con una pianta, un accessorio dorato, una frase ispiratrice. Siate creative (e morigerate ahah). Ah, potete stampare queste frasi che ho fatto per voi!

BE COMFORTABLE! // STATE COMODE!
Chances are that you are going to spend some time in your new workspace and this means that you need a comfy chair. Your back is delicate and you should invest on a good chair that can make you feel comfortable even after hours of work (or craft). After this, your workspace is complete and you’re ready to enjoy it (and have breaks, of course!). // Il fatto che passerete del tempo nel vostro nuovo spazio di lavoro è più che probabile e questo significa che avete bisogno di una sedia comoda. La schiena è delicata quindi vi conviene investire su una seduta che vi faccia sentire riposate anche dopo ore di lavoro (o qualunque altra attività). Dopo di che il vostro spazio sarà completo e voi sarete pronte per godervelo (e farci pausa, ovviamente!).
