After the Fall edition, it is now time to talk about Winter (clothing) essentials; I start early so that we can be prepared: getting started is half the job!

Dopo l’edizione autunnale, è ora tempo di parlare di capi essenziali per l’Inverno; inizio presto così possiamo arrivare preparate: chi ben comincia è già a metà dell’opera!
What’s in my closet for Winter? Lots of warm sweaters, of course, long sleeves shirts and thermal leggings (ahem…yes). But there are 5 basic pieces we all should have and I’m going to tell you which!

Cosa c’è nel mio armadio in Inverno? Un sacco di maglioni, ovviamente, magliette a maniche lunghe e leggings termici (ehm…già). Ma ci sono 5 pezzi che tutte noi dovremmo avere e sto per mostrarveli!

A BEAUTIFUL COAT // UN BEL CAPPOTTO
A padded jacket is what I live in during Winter, but a beautiful coat is simply essential to take our outfit to the next level. To stay warm and super elegant at the same time! Choose it in greay, black or camel and with a wide soft neck and you won’t go wrong! // In Inverno vivo praticamente nel mio piumino, ma un bel cappotto è essenziale per portare il nostro outfit ad un livello superiore. Il modo migliore per stare calde ed essere eleganti! Sceglietelo in grigio, nero o cammello e con un ampio morbido collo e non sbaglierete!

THE (TURTLENECK) SWEATER DRESS // L’ABITO DI MAGLIA (CON COLLO ALTO)
Okay, this is like an uniform to me: sweater dresses are life saving in Winter! You can wear them at work, on a date, at the theatre (I wore the one you see in photo the last year at Teatro alla Scala) etc. You just need to change accessories and you’re done! The plus? Turtleneck for an extra warm feeling! // Okay, praticamente per me è un’uniforme: gli abiti in maglia sono tutto in Inverno! Li puoi indossare a lavoro, ad un appuntamento, a teatro (già, ho messo quello che vedete in foto l’anno scorso al Teatro alla Scala) ecc. Dovete semplicemente cambiare gli accessori e il gioco è fatto! Il di più? Il collo alto, per una sensazione extra di calore!

WOOL TROUSERS // PANTALONI IN LANA
It’s all about pretending to be in bed while you’re not, right? In Winter it’s sooo bad leaving our bed, so why not to bring that cozy feeling with us? A pair of comfy wool trousers will make you feel in your pijiamas and look well dressed at others’ eyes. Mission accomplished! // Sta tutto nel fingere di essere ancora nel letto, giusto? In Inverno è così brutto dover abbandonare il proprio letto, quindi perché non portare quella sensazione di calore con noi? Un paio di comodi pantaloni in lana ci faranno sentire in pigiama ma apparire ben vestite agli occhi degli altri. Missione compiuta!

THAT FESTIVE SWEATER // QUEL MAGLIONE PER LE FESTE
Winter is full of moments to share and this means leaving couch and Netflix for a dinner at our friends’ house or with the whole family at grandma’s place. Your dressing up desire is under the 0 level? Show off your festive sweater! The one you know will make you feel pretty even with jeans and sneakers. Girly and chic enough to make you step into the party in minutes! // L’Inverno è pieno di momenti da condividere e questo significa abbandonare divano e Netflix per una cena da amici o con la famiglia intera. La voglia di vestirvi è sotto le scarpe? Sfoderate il maglione delle feste! Quello che sapete già che vi farà sentire carine anche con jeans e scarpe da ginnastica. Grazioso ed elegante abbastanza da farvi essere pronte per la festa in pochi minuti!
LACE UP BOOTS // STIVALI CON LACCI
Rain? Wind? Snow? We don’t have to walk in moon boots if we don’t want to! Choose a sexy pair of boots with large heels and you’re ready to go (almost) anywhere! I feel so comfy in them that I’ve been wearing them more than anything else lately! // Pioggia? Vento? Neve? Non dobbiamo indossare i moon boots se non vogliamo! Scegliete degli stivali sexy con tacco grosso e siete pronte per andare (quasi) ovunque! Io li trovo così comodi che ultimamente sto indossando quasi sempre loro!
