This is the first time I post something about Halloween on my blog. There is always a firts time, isn’t it?
This is why a) I rarely celebrated it in the past (in Italy we don’t have it) b) I was not sure about what to post. But, this year, I decided to make two easy and super quick DIYs for those of you who like decorating the house for this night. Hope you’ll like it!

Questa è la prima volta che pubblico sul blog qualcosa che riguarda Halloween. C’è sempre una prima volta, giusto?
Questo perché a) in passato l’ho festeggiato raramente (per noi Italiani è una festa di “importazione”) b) non sono mai stata sicura riguardo a cosa pubblicare. Ma, quest’anno, ho deciso di condividere con voi due semplici e velocissimi fai da te per quelle tra voi che amano decorare la casa per l’occasione. Spero apprezzerete!

Queste 2 decorazioni sono così facili (ed assolutamente economiche) che le adorerete! Nessuno sforzo e massimo risultato: approvate!
YOU NEED // VI OCCORRE:
- black painted twigs / branches (I used black spray paint) // rametti dipinti di nero (io ho usato vernice spray)
- white medium candle // candela bianca di dimensione media
- red candle // candela rossa
- a basis for the candle (I used a marble tile) // una base per la candela (io ho usato una piastrellina in marmo)
- fake web (I bought mine for less than 2 €!) // ragnatela finta (io l’ho pagata meno di 2 €!).
HOW TO // COME PROCEDERE:
If you didn’t do it previously, paint your twigs first (with black paint!). Use a plastic sheet to protect your working place and then let them dry for about 20 minutes. Now make the bleeding canlde: you just need to light the red one and let the wax drip on the white candle, covering the top and dripping all around the sides, like tears (or blood drops!). When finished, let it dry and add the fake web to your composition and you’re done! // Se non l’avete fatto prima, iniziate col dipingere i rametti di nero. Usate della plastica per coprire il piano da lavoro e poi lasciateli asciugare per 20 minuti circa. Ora fate la candela sanguinante: dovete semplicemente accendere quella rossa e lasciar colare la cera sulla bianca, coprendo tutta la parte superiore e lasciandola colare lungo i lati, come se fossero lacrime (o gocce di sangue!). Una volta finito, aggiungete la ragnatela finta alla composizione e avete fatto!
Voilà! Creepy… // Voilà! Inquietante…
