I’m writing this post from my parents’ house, after a long Sunday lunch and loads of delicious food. How are your holidays going? I’m planning to leave soon for the sea (I LOVE leaving when everyone else come back home), but I would share this easy and quick DIY before. Yes, because I’m bringing this lace trim skirt for my sea evenings, perfect with a glass (or better, two) of wine and relaxed walks in my favourite place. Sto scrivendo questo post da casa dei miei, dopo un lungo pranzo domenicale e un sacco di buon cibo. Come stanno andando le vostre vacanze? Io sto pianificando di partire per il mare (ADORO partire quando tutti tornano), ma prima volevo condividere questo facile e veloce fai da te. Già, perché mi porterò questa gonna con pizzo per le mie sere al mare, con un bicchiere di vino (o meglio, due) e rilassate passeggiate nel posto che più amo. Una gonna come questa è un must per ogni ragazza e qui troverete il tutorial più semplice per realizzarne una con le vostre mani!

You need // Vi occorre:
- Tube skirt. // Gonna a tubo.
- Lace, about 1 mt (39 in). // Circa 1 mt di pizzo.
- Needle and thread (or sewing machine). // Ago e filo (o macchina da cucire).
- Scissors. // Forbici.
How to // Come procedere:
1)
Wrap the lace around the internal bottom of your skirt then cut the excess. // Avvolgete il pizzo
intorno al bordo interno della gonna, poi tagliate l’eccesso.
2)
Pin it… // Fissatelo con gli spilli…
3)
Then sew it! For the side, you can choose between sewing it or leaving a split. I opted for
sewing the lace together and close it. // Poi cucitelo! Per il lato, potete scegliere se cucirlo
o lasciare uno spacco laterale. Io ho optato per cucire il pizzo e “chiudere”.
